2/18 Little Wanshurst

GV II

Farmhouse. C16 or earlier with C19 facade. Ground floor red brick in
Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Exposed framing with rendered
infilling to left gable end. Slate roof. 2 storeys. Left gable end
(visible from lean-to) has broadly-spaced studding, with arch
braces, and with blocked four-light diamond mullion window to each
floor. Half-hipped roof of shallow pitch. Brick ridge stack towards
left end. Irregular fenestration of 3 three-light casements, one to
left and two to right of stack. Door with two top lights and shallow
flat consoled hood, under stack. Lean-to to left. Interior not
inspected.
