At right angles to street. Probably mid C19 stable block formerly part of Nos
36 to 90 (even) Staplegrove Road. 2 storey whitewashed rubble walls with triangular
pediment rising into pantile roof. Projecting eaves with curved brackets. 3 windows,
sashes with glazing bars. Canted bay in centre of ground floor and small lean-to
extensions to left and right.
Swiss cottage forms a group with Nos 86 to 90 (even) the summerhouse at Language
Centre, the Cottage, Weir House, Weir Lodge and Gatepiers, all in Staplegrove Road.
