Previously known as No "48" and now forming an extension to the County Hotel in
the alley behind Cheapside. Probably C18, altered recently. Stucco front of 2
storeys plus attics. Old tile roof. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Ground
floor has a double bar front with recessed central entrance.
No 1A Billet Street, No 66 The County Hotel, the Brendon Bar and No "8ยจ East Street,
form an important group with the listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street and the
Parade.
