GV II

House, perhaps a dowerhouse, now divided. Early C17 with mid C19 additions.
Red sandstone random rubble masonry with ashlar bays, moulded plinth bitumen covered slate roof, concealed behind parapet stone stack to right. 2-storeys,
1:2:3 bays, main C17 block to right, Victorian additions to left. Main block,
2 full height canted bays with 4-light mullioned windows flanking round
headed doorway in square headed frame with moulded spandrels and impost
piers, C20 door. Round headed niche above contains terracotta roof finial.
To left 4-centred arch doorway with 2-light casement to left with hood would, string course and 3-light casement in 4-centred arch above with hood mould continued as string course. Outer bay recessed 2-light casement.
Interior: reputedly front room right contains C17 plaster frieze.
