GV II*

House and shop. Late C15/early C16, C20 alterations. Timber framed, double-Roman tile roof, rendered walling. Two
storeys, 2 bays, C20 3-light metal casements to first floor, flat roofed shop-front to ground floor projects slightly
obscuring C16 jetty on curved brackets. Door opening to left, C16 ribbed and studded door in a moulded wooden surround,
stopped top base. Interior with a winder staircase, moulded handrail, splat balusters. Late C16 moulded plaster friezes
to 2 rooms to rear, that to ground floor with late C17 panelling to fireplace wall, fireplace in a bolection moulded
surround, centre panel above fireplace formerly held and oil painting. 2 cupboards to first floor with late C16
panelled doors.
