Entrance gateway (to Charlton House, now demolished). Late C18. Four stone Doric columns supporting painted wooden
architrave with triglyph frieze and modillion cornice, wreaths and crests in metopes. Plain square ashlar gate piers
each side with curved ashlar quadrant walls. Cast-iron ornamental gates with grilles each side.
