1821. Proper terrace on the Bridge. 3 storeys and cellar. Ashlar with parapets,
Nos 7 and 8 retain cornices. Panelled effect; Nos 7 to 9 retain panelled piers.
Traces of band over ground floor. No 5 rendered to obscure articulation. No 6
painted. 1 window each, glazing bar sashes, except 2nd floor of Nos 5 and 6.
These also have modern shop-fronts, though No 6 retains good 6-panelled door.
No 7 has late C19 shop-front with outer piers and dentil cornice to fascia, also
original door with reeded lintel and overlight with diamond central light for
lantern. No 8 has modern shop-front with Ionic side columns,pulvinated frieze
and multi-pane window. No 9 has modern shop-front, and a return of 2 windows and
a chamfered corner, each with framing penelled pilasters. Concealed roofs, mostly
slate.
