Dated 1697. 2½ storeys. Rubble with pantile roof. Stone chimney to left with
moulded capping, brick chimney to right. 2 mid-C19 cross-glazed sash dormers with
pedimented gables. Irregular fenestration: 3 windows on 1st floor cross mullion
windows, lower openings with sashes. Monolith bullseye moulded window to right.
Sundial to left of centre inscribes "Time .... Troth. Ivne i/e 3 ... 1697".
('Time Tryeth Troth' was a motto of Lord Bath's; adopted as the Frome town motto).
Ground floor windows altered mid-C19 - to right a sash in block dressings, to left a
wide 2-light sash with reeded control colonette. Plain central door with steps up
to it.
Interior: winder stair survives above 1st floor.
