West of Plash Farmhouse

GV II
Walls enclosing garden. Early C19. Red sandstone random rubble, slate and stone coping, about 3.5 metres high. North
wall swept down in stages to about 2 metres on South front. 2 square headed openings centre East and West sides. 2
glass houses, lean-to roof and facing South-West, probably renewed; attached lean-to random rubble building on North
East wall with brick stack, flanking entrance to Plash Farmhouse (qv). The walled garden was probably created circa
1820 when Willett House (qv) built and Plash Farmhouse became the gardener's cottage.
