Church essentially of 1828/9 (on the site of a 1688 church), but refronted and
extended in 1868. Ham stone ashlar main facade, with a roughcast return along
Petters' Way; hipped Welsh slate roof. A 2-storey 3-bay facade in semi-classical
style, with deep plinth incorporating door to lower ground floor on left-hand
side: a flight of 12 steps with wing walls leads to a recessed porch with a
3-bay Doric portico in antis, with console keystones and alternate colours of
stone; the centre shafts having Corinthian caps. Matching single windows to
sides at both levels, with brackets to cills at ground floor level and recessed
aprons to first floor. String course with shallow dentils lining through with
porch, and full dentilled cornice with plain parapet over. The return along
Petters' Way is of 3-bays, with quoins in the middle of the wall denoting the
extent of the 1868 addition. The interior not inspected.
