Early C19 or late C18 tower windmill without cap or sails, of 7 storeys in tarred
brick. Round and segmental arched windows. Diagonal-set brick cornice and formerly battlemented parapet. Penticed extension to right. Adjoining L-plan building of red brick with hipped pantile roof. 3 storeys. North-facing elevation has 1 segmental-headed window and hatch door on 2 storeys above flat carriage entry and door. Side elevation has 3 segmental-headed windows on 2 storeys above 2 doors and 1 window and carriage entry. Windows broken or boarded at time of survey.

The Flour Mill and Nos 3 to 9 (odd) form a group, No 5 is of local interest only.
