House and outhouse, sometime a public house, now 2 houses. Early C18,
rear wing C19 N part made a separate house. Red brick with some blue
bricks in Flemish-bond. Timber framed roughcast upper floor to N part.
Steep old red tile roofs. A 2-storeys, cellar and attic house facing W,
with 2-storeys rear wing and 2-storeys N part. Main house has 2 windows
on each floor, central gabled dormer on roofslope, and central door.
Plat-band in headers, low plinth, corbelled eaves band. Internal N gable
chimney and external S gable chimney. 2 3-lights divided casements set
nearly flush. Deep cambered arches to ground floor 2-lights sliding
casements. Half-glazed door with moulded panels under lean-to hood on
pierced brackets. Shorter N part (Little Piggenwhistle) faces E with
painted brick ground floor, internal N gable chimney, rectangular bay to
ground floor and window over to 1st floor.
