C17 or earlier building of 2 storeys and basement, 2 windows. High pitched
tiled roof. Earlier C19 brick facade with parapet, now painted.
Plain reveals to sash windows with glazing bars on 1st floor. Early C19
style double shop front with urns supporting cornice and paterae at angles.
Gothic glazing bars to shop windows, and cast iron grilles to basement
lights below. Carriageway at right is under 1st floor window of No 12.
Nos 11 to 16 (consec) form a group.
