11/20 Granary and adjoining outbuilding at Popefield Farm (formerly listed as Outbuildings to Popefield 20.11.72 Farmhouse)

Granary and attached open shed. The granary is late C17, the shed early C19. Granary is timber frame with C19 brick infill. Plain tile gable end roof. 2 storeys and attics - an unusually tall example. Front has plank door with slatted ventilator above; small ventilator in gable. Red brick stilts. Interior has well preserved fittings. Original floor boards, beams and joists; upper floor with original plank partitions. Extension has red brick wall to rear. Slate roof. Front is open with bracketed posts.
