Includes boundary walls to Redlands and the Bungalow, Monks Close
Medbourn; and north boundary wall to the Priory, The ruins, Redbourn.
Front wall and railings; long side and rear boundary walls.
Formerly enclosing grounds to The Priory; rear parts of wall now
enclosing separate properties. Early C18 with later C18
additions; some C17 brick at rear. Dark red brick, partly
chequered. Low front wall with stone coping. C19 cast iron
railings with leaf spikes. N section is approximately 150 metres
along S side of The Ruins. 3 metres high near road. Regularly
spaced flat buttresses. Square pier at W end. Returns along W
side for about 50 metres, terminating at S end in a square pier.
