II
1922, by Clough Williams Ellis. Single-storeyed, detached building in modified, classical style. Yellow brick with Portland stone dressings, and steeply pitched, pantiled roof with central, copper-covered cupola. Order of brick pilasters with stone bases and entablature crowned by pair or urns to long south side. Four tall, square-headed windows flanked by trios of round-arched openings with circular windows above. East front has paired, stone pilasters framing two-columned Doric portico, in antis, with three-light windows. Elaborated upper part with central, circular window flanked by pairs of urns and consoles. Other end simpler. Open vestibule flanked by small compartments, one with stair to gallery over. Shaped stage-organ compartment projecting from centre of north side.
