Miller's house. C18, extended in C19 and C20. Plum brick
largely plastered with panelled pargetting, timber framing
exposed in jettied picturesque C19 small extensions on N and W.
Old red tile roofs. Slated lean-to in N-W angle. Large early
C20 plastered and tiled range linked to NE not of special
interest, but probably on site of water mill. C18 small house of
2 storeys with main axis N - S. 2-storeys jettied gabled
extension in middle of W side and similar on N end. Picturesque
Gothick effect from cusped bargeboards on extensions and general
use of 2-light cast iron casement windows with lozenge panes.
Similar oriel with tiled hood on upper floor of W gable.
Transomed and mullioned similar cast iron casments to S gable of
C18 part (RCHM Typescript).
