GV II

House. C16 altered and refronted in brick in mid C17. Timber
frame on low sill, roughcast. W gable frame exposed with red
brick infill. Red brick font on S. Steep old red tile roof,
carried down over rear outshot. A 3-unit plan house with large
external cable chimneys to E and W and formerly a continuous
jetty along the S side. 2-storeys and attics with a 3-bay
structural frame. Remains of brick oven by E chimney. Central
chimney 1/3 of distance from W end. Symmetrical brick S front in
English-bond with floor band, central gabled dormer on roof
slope, and 3 windows to each floor. Flush 3-light leaded
casement windows (renewed) without arches over.
