C17 or earlier. Large, 2 storey, timberframed house subdivided. 1 bay
C18 extension to S with hipped roof. Steep old red tile roof gabled.
Weatherboarding painted. Modillioned eaves cornice stops short of S
extension. 3 rooms in line plan with large chimney between southern rooms.
Middle room said to have axial beam and fire lintol both marked 'put in
1724'. No 62 on S has 1 sash window to each floor. Flush box sashes with
architraves and 8/8 panes, 4 panel door with moulded architrave and flat
hood on shaped brackets. No 66 has 2 sash windows to each floor and
central door. Details match No 62 but Victorian 2/2 sashes in N Gd floor
and upper S windows.
