Terrace walls and steps. Circa 1875. George Devey. Terrace wall to S.E:
ragstone and brick with brick machicolation and cornice and stone buttressed
at intervals. Towards the N.E. this wall bounds a rectangular garden projection
with brick and stone piers at the angles. On N.E. of this the terrace is of
brick only. Similar brick and stone walls and piers bound flights of stone
steps descending from S.W. end of main terrace. A similar brick wall continues
S.W. from bottom of terrace steps and joins at right angles with the similar
wall bounding the N.E. side of the N.E. garden to Old St.Albans Court.
