House, now 2 shops. Early C18 or earlier,extended to front in
C19. Timber frame roughcast or white weatherboarded with steep
old red tile roofs. Red brick front with flatter pitched slate
roof sloping back to old ridge. 2-storeys with deep front range
and 2 2-storeys rear wings. E front has 3 wide-spaced upper
windows with gauged flat arches and recessed 2-light casements.
Good C19 shopfront with fascia, recessed central door up 3 steps,
and 3-light segmental headed windows each side. Groundfloor
plastered with glazed door and small shop window at right. Early
C18 leaded casements at rear.
