House, now shops and offices. C17, refronted in C18, altered C19 and
C20. Timber frame, colourwashed brick front. Tiled roof. 3 bays with
rear wings. 2 storeys and attic. Central entrance with moulded
architrave. Flanking late C19 rectangular shop window bays with a
continuous projecting cornice. 3 first floor glazing bar sashes. Moulded
cornice. 2 flat topped dormers. Stack on front pitch at left end. Stack
to rear on taller ridge of long wing to rear right. Exposed timber frame
panels with brick nogging, triple struts to collar clasping purlin,
sashes inserted. Shorter timber framed rendered wing to rear left has a
steeper pitch to its roof. Interior: original roof construction intact.
