House, now shop. Probably early C17 clad in late C18 with some late C20
alterations. Probably timber-frame clad in brick with machine tile roof.
Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice, three windows: 8-pane boxed sashes
with stone sills under segmental heads, central window blind; second floor:
C20 top hung casements; ground floor: two 16-pane sashes under segmental
heads; central entrance has a wooden architrave and ledged and boarded door;
entrance to a passageway at right-hand corner has a C17 boarded door under
semi-circular head. Framing: the ends of chamfered and stopped beams are
visible in the passageway.
