House, now part of a public house. Early C18 with late C19 and some late C20
alterations. Painted brick with tile roof, rear stacks. Two storeys with
attic lit by two flat-roofed dormers, dentilled brick cornice, floor band.
Four windows: two C20 boxed glazing bar sashes under segmental heads flank
two blocked windows; ground floor: three windows: 12-pane boxed sashes under
segmental heads; window to right has C19 flush panelled shutters; entrance
to right of centre has wooden pilastered doorcase with scroll brackets to
canopy and a six flush panel door, upper two glazed. The rest of the Red
Lion Public House is to the north and is late C19 - early C20; it is not
of special interest.
