Barn. Late C16/early C17, N part much repaired. Timber frame on tarred
brick sill, dark weatherboarded with steep old red tile roof and
pantiled S lean-to to LH and RH of gabled porch in 2nd bay from W.
Double doors with winnowing door to rear (N) in same bay. Jowled posts
with deep straight braces to tie-beams and wallplates. Clasped purlin
roof with collar trusses, one purlin, and queen-struts in gable trusses.
Slender roof scantling as if for thatch.
