LEES ROAD (North-west side) (formerly known as High Street, East-West Arm),
Wisteria Cottage

House. Early C18. Timber-framed. Ground floor largely red brick in
stretcher bond, but with one framed panel each side of door with lacing
piece and herringbone top course. First floor pebbledashed. Left and
right half-gables tile-hung. Plain tile roof. Two storeys and attic.
Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Half-hipped roof. Central rear brick
stack. Two small hipped dormers with moulded cornices and leaded two-light
casements. Regular 3-window front of leaded casements with ovolo-moulded
architraves; three-light to right and left, two-light to centre. Central
ribbed door in red and grey brick porch with hipped plain tile roof. Lean-
to with tile-hung gable and garage doors to right. Rear lean-to. Interior
not inspected.
