26.1.67 Black and
GV II
House. C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed with
brick and rendered infill, sandstone plinth, thatched roof. Three framed
bays aligned east/west facing south, entrance in C20 addition to rear,
right of centre axial stack. Single storey, attic and cellar, two eye-
brow dormers with 3-light C20 windows to right, 3-light window below
eaves to left and pair of similar 2-light casement windows toward centre;
C19 cast iron window with segmental head to right. Framing appears fairly
complete though altered, three square panels from sill to wall-plate.
