WESTON UNDER PENYARD CP KINGSTONE

House. Probably C16 with C20 additions. Timber-framed with tile roof.
Earlier part, to right of two-storey C20 gabled porch, of one storey with
attic. Framed in square panels in three rows, with spacing more irregular
towards left. Four C20 casement windows on ground floor. Gabled attic
dormer above, with low window under eaves to right. Chimney to right of
porch. Roof half-hipped at right. Exposed in the right-hand gable wall
is a cruck truss of light scantling which terminates at collar level.
Interior: inglenook fireplace and chamfered axial beam on ground floor.
No crucks are visible. On the first floor there are two tie-beam trusses
with raking struts to the principals.
