SO 51 NE GOODRICH CP MAINOAKS

10 m north of Mainoaks


GV II


Granary and animal house. C17, altered. Coursed square sandstone rubble,
ashlar dressings, slate roof. Two bays aligned north/south with further slightly
later two bays to south (central stone wall formerly end wall). Two storeys,
three windows to south of steps up to square-headed doorway, two 2-light stone
mullioned windows to two southern bays, south gable has similar window and
steps up to elliptical-arched headed doorway, large cambered head to door-
way on ground floor. South section with upper cruck truss, north section
with later inserted interrupted tie-beam truss. North section partly
obscured by cow house (not included).
