House. C17, altered. Coursed, squared rubble, ashlar dressings, C20
tiled roof. Range aligned east/west, east gable entry to ground floor
above lower storage storey, rebuilt early C20 stacks to west of north
side and to east of south side. Two storeys and attic, lower storey for
storage, 2- and 3-light metal glazing bar casements and stone hoodmoulds,
north elevations: central gabled range of two windows with blocked owl-
hole at apex and doorway at ground floor, 2-light window to east on first
floor, similar window to east gable and late C19 or C20 gabled porch below,
square-headed doorway, C20 door. East gable with flat coping to verge.
Formerly used as barn. (RCHM, Vol I, p 81). _
