A pair of cottages. Possibly mid- to late C18, heightened in mid-C19.
Timber-frame, brick infill panels, raised slate roof, central stack. Two
storeys, two bays oriented north-east/south-west. North-east elevation:
front wall of north cottage under-built in brick; matching late C19 2-light
casements: two to ground floor, four to first floor, one ledged entrance
door to left, and one to right hand side under gabled porch. Frame: thin
scantling, three panels high to former-wall plate. Gable ends still
exhibit the diagonal struts of the earlier roof.
