House. Probably late C17 to early C18 with early C19 extension. Timber-
frame with plaster and brick infill, brick extension and tiled roofs; brick
stack to C19 part is off-ridge, that to end of timber-framed part has sand-
stone rubble base and detached brick shaft. Two timber-framed bays aligned
north-east/south-west with C19 extension to south-west end. One storey and
attic to timber-framed part. North-west elevation has two ground-floor C20
windows, one with two panes in front of end stack and another with one pane
immediately to its right, steel 2-light mid-C20 casement in flat-topped
dormer to right side of timber-framed part, the ground floor of which is
masked by a corrugated iron lean-to with entry in left hand side. Frame
is three square panels high from cill to wall-plate; V-struts from collar
to principals in exposed left gable.
