GV II

House. Probably early C19. Brick, hipped tiled roof and brick end stacks.
Three storeys, 2:1:2 windows in segmental openings, glazing-bar sashes to
top floor, large panes to other floors, plat-bands divide storeys, central
bay is advanced with a 6-panelled door. Front walls are brick about 7 or 8
feet high, return walls are mainly sandstone rubble; mounting block rises
from left of garden entry at the foot of the brick walling (RCHM Vol II, p 222).
