GV II


House. C17, altered and extended mid-C19, altered C20. Timber-framed
with brick infil, sandstone plinth, shingle roofs. Main house of two framed
bays aligned east/west with entrance to south, extension to west extending
to north, central entrance to house with east gable end stack. Two storeys
(formerly single storey with attic, roof raised) with 2-light casement windows
to first floor, two similar windows to left and one to right of gabled porch
with part glazed door. Framing appears fairly complete, formerly three square
panels from sill to wall-plate, now with extra panel.
