Farmhouse. Lath C17, altered and extended early and mid-C19. Red brick and
plain tiled roofs. Entrance elevation of 2 storeys and garret. 3 windows:
wide 16-pane glazing bar sashes at right (some renewed) and 3-light cross
window with segmental head at left. Central flush panelled door under flat
hood on brackets. Lower wing at left partly obscures large brick stack with
offsets. Large mid-C19 extension at rear. 2 storeys and half-basement.
3 windows: 16-pane glazing bar sashes with keystones and flush framed boxes,
the central ones are blank and the ground floor ones are adapted as doorways.
Interior: fine mid-C19 staircase rises through 3 floors with ramped handrail
and raised landing on top floor; roof trusses to C17 part have curved feet to
principals.
