House. C17, restored mid-C20. Timber-framed, rendered and painted brick
infill, thatched roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south and external
chimney with off-sets to left of south elevation. Single storey and attic
with dormers. Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall-plate, long
straight brace in rear elevation, roof trusses obscured by additions.
East front elevation: windows are 2-light C20 leaded casements; ground floor
has single window and an eyebrow dormer cut into thatch above; entrance in
thatched timber-framed C20 lean-to porch to right having a latticed light to
front elevation and stable door in left side elevation. Interior not inspected.
Large C20 two-storey extension at north gable end. Part of the former Bearcroft
Estate.
