House. C17, altered mid-C19 and restored mid-C20. Timber-framed with
rendered refacing and replacement walling, half-hipped thatched roof. Two
framed bays aligned north-east/south-west with probable former external
chimney to rear north-east end, now enclosed by later additions. Single
storey and attic with dormers. Framing: wall-plate partly visible; truncated
collar and tie-beam truss with two struts at south-west gable end.
South-west front elevation: windows are C19 metal casements; ground floor
has two 2-light windows with cambered heads, two eyebrow dormers cut into
the thatch with 2-light casements; main entrance to right side has a C20
gabled porch and, within, a ledged and battened door with a cambered head.
Brick stack to left of front ridge. Attic lights in gable ends. Interior
not inspected. A C20 single-storey addition adjoins to rear left and a
C20 extension is linked to the north-east end by a passageway.
