C15 and C18. Three storey late C18 brown brick house with slated roof behind
parapet. Two curved bays of 3 casement windows each on ground floor, 6 flat sash
windows on each of first and second floors. Central porch with twin engaged columns,
cornice and parapet, round-headed windows in sides and semi-circular fanlight over
door. Contemporary 2-storey recessed addition at the east end with one sash window on
each floor. All glazing bars intact.
This Georgian house was built on to a 15th century manor, the buttressed flint and
ragstone walls and window tracery of 3 cinquefoil lights remain at the south-east
corner of the house.
