Farmhouse

Barn. C17 with mid-C19 alterations. Timber-frame on sandstone plinth,
weatherboarded, originally with woven infill, a little of which survives,
corrugated iron roof. Four framed bays aligned north/south with threshing
floor north of centre, on east side or threshing floor a formerly gabled
porch, now with lean-to corrugated iron roof. Framing: three square panels
high with straight angle braces; intermediate trusses: two raking struts and
collar; north gable: two struts to collar with curved raking struts in apex.
