16/21 Hambledon Cottage
GV II
Cottage. C17 timber frame with later cladding, east extension of 1844. The
earlier part has walls of painted brickwork, the later of flint with brick quoins
and cambered arches. The old part has a thatched roof with eyebrow dormer, the
eaves brought down above a C20 half-glazed porch, the later part has a tile roof.
South elevation shows the two parts, of one storey and attic and two storeys,
1.1 above 2.1 windows. Casements, and a French door.
