Country house. Late C18, with extensions and changes of the early, mid, and late
C19. Walls of stucco, with pilasters to the front, hood-moulds and crenellated
parapet: rear walls of colourwashed brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond. Hipped
tile roof. L-shaped block with long south-east elevation, ending at the south-end
as a semi-circle, the short arm showing at the south-west as a recessed centre with
wings: the angle has been filled and extended in the mid and late C19. South east
front of two storeys eight windows; old ground-floor sashes in exposed frames,
upper casements fitted into the old frames. Entrance at the third bay; a porch of
a simple Order with Grecian mouldings, with two pilasters and two columns, a reeded
architrave, and half-glazed door. The south-west elevation is two storeys, 1.2.3
windows, with large sashes to the east side (rounded) wing.
