8/14 Old School House
II
School and attached master's house now private house. Early C19. Rustic
flint nodule walls and some brick walls, roof thatched. 2 storey, 2 bay
front. At each end added lean-to, weatherboarded and tiled porch. In
between 2 3-light mullioned and transomed windows with above 2 2-light
casements. Roof has ridge piece and large central ridge flint stack. At
right end canted bay with 3-light casement on each floor and tiled hipped
roof, with carved bargeboards above to gable. To rear at right school room,
single storey, 2 window range, flint and brick with old plain tiled roof.
