Estate Office at Longwood

Barn, Circa 1880 by G Devey. Brick encasing timber-frame with old plain tile roof.
7 bay barn, aisled to rear large midstrey door to centre bay. Right 3 bays have
double doors in centre bay with ventilation slits either side and door next to large
midstray doors in centre of barn. Left 3 bays have cartshed attached to left bay,
windows in centre bay and double doors under segmental headed arch to right. Roof
hipped. Inside queen post roof with main posts on aisled side which stand on brick
piers and have aisled ties halfway up and braces. Timber given adzed surface.
Attached to right single storey L-shaped brick building containing well and pumping
gear, but engine removed.
