SU 5828 CHERITON BRANDY MOUNT

Cottage now pair of cottages. C16, added to C18 and C19. Timber-frame with brick
infill and flint with brick dressing wing, old plain tile roof. 3 bay timber-frame
with C18 projecting bay added to front at right, and early C19 bay with wing behind
added to left end. 4 bay, 1½ storey front. 2 C19 segmental headed 3-light
casements with C19 gabled 2-light dormers built off wallplate in centre bays, with
main posts of frame exposed. Blank end bays but C19 door and window to inner side
of right projecting bay. Roof hipped with hipped lower roof to front wing. Ridge
stack at left end of timber-frame and at inner end of right bay.
