Built about 1723. A range of 3 timber-framed and plastered cottages with
thatched roofs. Restored. One storey and attics. Small casement windows
with glazing bars. Boarded doors. Three dormers (2 gabled with tiled
roofs). Two ridge chimney stacks and an external stack at the north
end. A modern plaque states "Charles Cheston, painter, lived here 1939-1960".
