A C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered house refronted in 1909 in gault
brick, now colourwashed. Wings extend to the east at the rear. The front
has brick rusticated quoins. 2 storeys. 6 window range, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars in the upper sashes, in plain reveals, with sills
on stub brackets. 2 doorways with semi-circular arched heads, keystones
and pilasters. The ground storey has a central modern double fronted
shop bay window and a small shop bay at the south end. Roof tiled, hipped
on the north and south ends, with small gablets and part of a C16 chimney
stack with 1 octagonal shaft and a rebuilt square shaft.
