A range of C18 timber-framed and plastered almshouses arranged in three blocks, with a long block extending east and west, set back, and two shorter blocks extending to the south at the east and west ends. Over the east doorway of the long block there is the date 1777. One storey and attics. Casement windows, some are old leaded lights and some modern. There is also a small C19 former shop window in the long block. Roofs pantiled, with three dormers to the long block (two gabled and one sloping roofed). The front of the quadrangle formed by the three blocks has three large chestnut trees.
