House, now 2 dwellings. C16 or earlier with later alterations and additions.,
Mainly timber framed and plastered with brick infill to ground floor of right
range and some exposed timber frame. Large off centre left and external right
chimney stacks to right range. Two storeys. Crosswing to left, this jettied
with central and right brackets, date 1577 to gable apex, end of centre purlin
visible suggesting a crown post roof. The side girt of the right range is
visible and wall studs with straight bracing, also a possible blocked window to
left below the side girt. 1:2 window range of various casements. A centre
purlin extends to crosswing gable apex suggesting a crown post roof.
