House. C16-C17 core with early C19 alterations. Timber framed, the facade
and left gable end cased in C19 colourwashed brick, with a first floor band
and brick dentil eaves cornice. Remainder plastered. C19 pantiled roof with
glazed black tiles to the front. 2 storeys. 4 windows, arranged 1:3, inset
16-paned sashes of mid C20 under flat brick arches of painted brick. The
upper windows are set well below the eaves. To the left is a lobby entrance:
early C19 doorcase, the architrave with fluted jambs and pedimented cornice;
6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed. To the right are 2 ground floor
canted bays and between them a doorcase with sunk pilasters and hood; half-
glazed door. Internal stack. Interior not examined.
