House. Early-mid C17 with medieval origins. Timber framed with mid C20
textured plasterwork and a thatched roof. 1½ storeys. 2-cell form. 2
windows, C20 small-paned casements. To right is a small mid C20 gabled porch
with boarded door. 2 gabled dormers. Internal stack with small plain shaft.
Single-storey C20 additions to right gable end and rear. The frame re-uses
many medieval components, including a tie beam with mortices for a crown-post

room on ground floor has a large open fireplace with original lintol. Intact
roof, probably of coupled-rafter or common-rafter form, not fully examined.
